The Rosenberg Police Department is always open to hiring applicants who already have the experience and knowledge to perform the job. We have made the hiring process easier for qualified lateral applicants so you can have a fast and smooth transition from your prior agency to ours.

A licensed police officer from another Texas agency who has at least two years of previous employment as a peace officer in the State of Texas and is found to be employed in “good standing” with no breach of service may have the following requirements waived:

  • Written Examination
  • Polygraph Examination
  • Psychological Screening
