The Annual National Night Out in Texas will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018
This year, Rosenberg will hold its annual COMMUNITY CELEBRATION at Texas State Technical College, located at 26706 Southwest Freeway from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The National Night Out Campaign is a unique crime/drug prevention event in which Rosenberg and over 10,000 communities from all over the United States participate. The local campaign is sponsored by the Rosenberg Police Department (RPD) with the assistance of the local community, and is designed to increase crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood and police community partnership, and to inform criminals that as a neighbor, and a community, we are fighting back.
Communities celebrate National Night Out by having block parties, cookouts, parades, contests, youth programs, and visits from local police, fire, and sheriff’s departments.
If you’re interested in hosting a neighborhood event, please complete the form below, and someone from Rosenberg Police will contact you. Application deadlines are September 21. Get your application in by September 14 and you will be eligible for a drawing where a RPD officer delivers 10 Pizzas to your block party.
The deadline for vendor applications is September 21, 2018
If you would like further information, or guidance in organizing a neighborhood party, check out the resources below, or contact the RPD Sergeant M. Bradley at (832) 309-1161.
