Cultural Arts District
Downtown Rosenberg is a Texas State Designated Cultural Arts District. We are home to the Art League of Fort Bend, Cast Theatrical Company, the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, the Rosenberg Symphonic Band, and the Rosenberg Arts Alliance, and throughout the year these groups maintain a busy schedule of art shows, art-related physical improvements, live musical performances, and theatrical performances. We also work hard to promote, establish, and maintain our brand as a thriving regional center of the arts. Accordingly, we normally work to find a way to incorporate art into our promotional activities, festivals, and even our physical improvements and beautifications. Examples of such art-branded activities include the private development of the 3rd Street Art Park, the installation of Murals, the staging of Art Festivals, and the staging of performances by our community theater and our community symphonic band, and both regular and seasonal art shows, art exhibits and art receptions. Our downtown district also boasts two restaurants that offer live music performances on a regular basis, so our downtown nightlife attracts shoppers and diners.
