Sewing Group

The "Rose-Rich Sew-n-Sews" is a Neighborhood Group within the American Sewing Guild (ASG), a national non-profit organization dedicated to people who believe sewing is a rewarding and creative activity. The ASG is a membership organization that welcomes sewing enthusiasts of all skill levels and from many different walks of life. Chapters are located in cities all across the country and members meet monthly to learn new sewing skills, network with others who share an interest in sewing and participate in community service sewing projects. Membership in the Guild gives you an opportunity to experience your love of any type of home sewing with others who share your interest.

Meetings

The group meets the second Friday of each month from 10 am to noon. There is no cost for the first two months, and then participants are required to join the American Sewing Guild.

Events

Chapters promote sewing in local communities through encouragement, education, and support. They also host social events such as fashion shows and sewing fairs, and many do sewing related service projects for their community. Guild members can increase their confidence, expand their skills, enjoy the annual Conference, and take advantage of discounts available only to Guild members.
