National Night Out
The City of Rosenberg, along with over 10,000 communities from all over the United States, participate in National Night Out (NNO). National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. The local campaign is sponsored by the Rosenberg Police Department with the assistance of the local community,
Communities celebrate National Night Out by having:
- Block parties
- Visits from local police and sheriff’s departments
- Youth programs
On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the Rosenberg Police Department will host our annual National Night Out event. This national campaign is designed to strengthen neighborhood and police partnerships, and increase crime and drug prevention awareness. This year, the City’s National Night Out event will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Brazos Town Center in the parking lot in front of the Police storefront, next to Hobby Lobby. There will be events for the kids and various vendors from the community in attendance. In addition to the main event, Rosenberg Police Officers will also be attending neighborhood block parties to visit with residents and their neighbors.
