Overview
The Building & Standards Board (Board), consists of individuals from the various trades, facilitates building-related appeals, reviews, and assists in recommending building standards and license requirements, and hears appeals to decisions of the Building Official or Fire Marshal.
Shall consist of 5 members:
- Active Building Contractor (1 required)
- Licensed Master Electrician (1 required)
- Licensed Master Plumber (1 required)
- Licensed Mechanical Contractor (1 required)
- Representative from the City at large (1 required)
The Board was established by Ordinance No. 2003-34 on July 15, 2003.
Board members serve a two-year term (non-staggered). Meetings are held as needed.
