Beginning October 1, 2022, the City's new solid waste contractor will be GFL Environmental. Part of the new agreement includes trash pick-up twice weekly in addition to recycling, green waste, and bulky waste pickup.

NEW! To expedite assistance with solid waste concerns you will now contact GFL directly for most trash issues. Missed pick-ups, broken carts, etc. will now be reported directly to GFL either by phone to the dedicated Rosenberg support team at 832-271-5187 or via email at CityofRosenberg@gflenv.com. Changes to your service or billing questions will still be handled by City of Rosenberg Customer Service by calling 832-595-3400 or visit the website at rosenbergtx.gov/trash for more information.
NEW CART DELIVERY BEGAN SEPT. 12, 2022. Republic Services will be picking up your old poly carts beginning September 28th. You will leave the carts at the curb after you set them out for trash collection for that date.

Solid Waste/Trash pick-up will be either: Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday.

Yard and bulk waste is serviced on the first day of your pickup - either Monday or Tuesday.
REMINDER: The last time you will use your current Republic Services poly carts for garbage and recycling will be September 28th. On October 1st, you will start using your new GFL poly carts on your scheduled service days. DO NOT USE your GFL Carts until Oct. 1st. Republic Services will not service GFL carts.
Per City regulations, customers may not place carts in the street right-of-way for collection prior to noon the day before collection. Carts must be placed out no later than 7 am on the day of collection. Emptied carts must be removed from the street right-of-way no later than 8 am on the morning following collection.
