City of Rosenberg Calling for Volunteers
The City of Rosenberg’s Animal Control Shelter Advisory Board is seeking members.
Section 823.005(b) of the Texas Health and Safety Code states “The advisory committee must be composed of a least one licensed veterinarian, one county or municipal official, one person whose duties include the daily operation of an animal shelter, and one representative from an animal welfare organization”.
At this time, the City is seeking applications for Animal Welfare Organization Representatives, and applicants must be residents of the City.
Applicants must complete an application and submit to the City Secretary’s office, at City Hall, 2110 4th Street to be considered for appointment. Applications are due no later than March 29, 2019. Please call 832-595-3340 for more information.
The Rosenberg Animal Control and Shelter Advisory Board provides advice regarding the animal shelter and animal welfare.
The Animal Control and Shelter Advisory Board consists of 6 members, including 1 Licensed Veterinarian, 1 City Official, 1 representative of an Animal Welfare Organization, 1 Animal Control Director, 1 Animal Control Supervisory Officer, and 1 Animal Control Officer.
