Rosenberg to Host Garage Sale Fundraiser to Benefit Animal Control

On September 10th from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., the Rosenberg Animal Control will hold a garage sale/fundraising and adoption event at their 1207 Blume Road location. Proceeds will go to the animal shelter including spay/neuter costs, rabies vaccinations, and emergency medical costs. Items for sale include handmade key fobs, t-shirts, and hamburgers and hotdogs grilled to order by the Needville Boy Scout Troop #127.

In addition to the fundraising items for sale a veterinary representative and wildlife trapper will be on hand to answer any questions about pet care and wildlife concerns. The goal of the Rosenberg Animal Control is to place healthy happy pets into homes where they can thrive. They believe education is the first line of defense in supporting pet owners.

City staff and local businesses will be there and look forward to meeting everyone who stops by. For more information or to hear about pets available for adoption, please call (832) 595-3492.
