Rosenberg Police Department Law Enforcement Explorer “Battle on the Brazos” Competition

On Saturday, July 18, Rosenberg Police Department Explorer’s Post #2120 welcomes other Explorer Posts to compete in the Rosenberg Police Department Law Enforcement Explorer “Battle on the Brazos” Competition.

This year’s competition is being sponsored by the Rosenberg Police Department, Lamar Consolidated Independent School District and the Boy Scouts of America (Cradle of Texas Chapter – Houston Area Council). The competition is Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Terry High School located at 5500 Avenue N in Rosenberg, TX 77471.

To register, click here. Team registration forms must be received by June 27, 2015. All fees must be paid in full to Rosenberg Police Explorer ; No partial payments please. There are a maximum number of Teams (4-Maximum), so get your entry in early. Teams are not registered until fees are paid in full.


Exploring is a program designed by Learning for Life (a sub-division of the Boy Scouts of America) for young adults, both male and female, ages 14 (and completed 8th grade) to 21 that share an attraction to a specific career such as law enforcement. Many different law enforcement agencies sponsor explorer programs in the education of participants to become our future law enforcement officers or to have a career in law enforcement. The program provides an ideal link between the academic environment and the real world.
